Inspirational Songs for Mother's Day

Mother is a portrait of love and endurance, as she bears a lot to bring you into this world. There are a number of memories and incidents which bind you to her, but there is little you have done for her. Be it your first steps, your college degree, or your first job, she was always there for you. So what if you get one opportunity in a year which you can exploit for a special treatment to your mother. Think creative; let your imagination go wild, think of innovative ideas which will help you surprise your mother. Think in terms of music, if you are a good singer then it will work for you; you can perform a song for her, and if your mother is into music it's anyways a plus point. And if you can't sing very well then develop a CD of inspirational songs and play it for your mother in the background while you surprise her.

Mother's Day Motivational Songs

You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up... To more than I can be.

The Wonder of You by Elvis Presley

When no-one else can understand me
When everything I do is wrong
You give me hope and consolation
You give me strength to carry on

And you're always there to lend a hand
In everything I do
That's the wonder
The wonder of you

And when you smile the world is brighter
You touch my hand and I'm a king
Your kiss to me is worth a fortune
Your love for me is everything

I'll guess I'll never know the reason why
You love me like you do
That's the wonder
The wonder of you

Mother and Child Reunion by Paul Simon

No I would not give you false hope
On this strange and mournful day
But the mother and child reunion
Is only a motion away
Oh
Little darling of mine.

I can't for the life of me
Remember a sadder day
I know they say let it be
But it just don't work out that way
And the course of the lifetimes runs
Over and over again.
No I would not give...

I just can't believe it's go
Though it seems strange to say
I never been laid so low
In such a mysterious way
And the course of a lifetime runs
Over and over again.

But I would not give...

Oh
The mother and child reunion
Is only a motion away
Oh the mother and child reunion
Is only a moment away.

And the love you give is just amazing.

Mom, Moms, where would we be?
Oh Moms, we think you're great.
