Mother's Day Poetry

"My mom is a never-ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune." Rightly quoted by Graycie Harmon, mothers are so special in everyone's life. For the boundless and undying love and care they shower upon us, no matter how much do we actually try to pay back to them, we never can. Irrespective of whether we love them, get angry with them, or even stop talking to them, their love never fades away and only grows with each passing day. Such is the affection and feelings of a mother towards her child. Due to the busy lifestyles and unlimited responsibilities, we often forget to thank our mothers for their constant support and bonding. But a blissful occasion like Mother's Day, rightly gives us a golden opportunity to express our heartiest and sincerest thoughts for them.

Mother's Day is an auspicious festival that occurs on the second Sunday of May every year. This day is dedicated towards mothers and their blissful relationship with their kids. This is evident from a plethora of activities carried out on this festival all across the world. While the day is filled with love, emotions, and sentiments, give your mother reason to smile with a kind and touching poem, listed below. This poem talks about the pure love that a mother passes on to her child without any expectations in return. How a mother makes efforts to teach her child to carry every single task and performs different roles whenever the child is in need of one. Take a look at the poem and find for yourself why God has created mothers and regarded them as angels.

Mother's Day Poem

M-O-T-H-E-R
She taught me the pure meaning of Love
And to thank the Lord above
She taught me to catch butterflies
She taught me to admire rose
She used to kiss away my fears
And hug away my woes
She tended a beautiful garden A garden of the heart
She planted all the good things that gave my life its start.
A Chef while baking me a cake
A Doctor when tending me my cold
I wonder what she couldn't do
As I kept growing old
A Tailor, A Chauffeur, A Fairy God Mother at times
But never to busy for a child's nursery rhymes
She is what she was and could be none other

My sweetest angel, she is my mother.
